Tignes & Val d'Isère E-Biking

With an E-bike, the mountains truly open up to everyone.

There’s no need to rely on lifts and no reason to worry about the climbs — the electric assist takes care of the hard work, so you can simply enjoy the ride and the scenery.

Head straight out of the hotel, turn left or right, and you’re instantly immersed in the stunning landscapes of Vanoise National Park. From gentle valley paths to higher alpine tracks, it’s an E-bike playground for all abilities.

E-Biking Morzine & Les Gets

E-Biking from Tignes 1550

E-bikes make it effortless to head straight out from our hotel and into the mountains for a real alpine adventure.

For first-timers, a circuit around the lake just outside the hotel is the perfect way to get comfortable with E-bike riding — wide paths, gentle terrain and stunning scenery make it an ideal warm-up route. From there, the wider area offers fantastic cruising routes for all abilities, whether you’re after a relaxed scenic spin or something a little more challenging.

For those wanting a bigger goal, take on the spectacular climb up to the dam via the scenic Col road and trail. It’s a famous stretch of the Tour de France — but on an E-bike, it becomes completely achievable and seriously fun!

Every guest receives some free use of our E-bikes, and we have a variety of Route Cards to choose from so you can discover some great itineraries in the local area.

E-Biking in Tignes Le Lac 2100

If you ride up to Tignes Le Lac — or hop on the free bike shuttle from Tignes 1550 — you’ll unlock access to the downhill trail network and the lifts.

From here, you can build confidence on the flowing green and blue Downhill runs with Singletrack terrain, berms and banked corners —ideal for more experienced E-bike riders who want to test their skills.

Our Active Reps can introduce you to five dedicated E-bike routes that make the most of the high-mountain trails, allowing you to ride well beyond the busy areas and truly explore on a “go-anywhere” machine.

One of our favourite routes is the spectacular loop above Les Brévières (1550) and Lac de Chevril, starting and finishing in Tignes Le Lac. Expect panoramic views, flowing alpine tracks and the kind of scenery that makes every climb worthwhile — especially when you’ve got electric assistance on your side.

E-Bike Experience

E-Bike trails in Val d’Isère

Riding an e-bike from Tignes 1550 (Les Brévières) to Val d’Isère (La Daille) is one of the most scenic and achievable rides in the area.

The route covers approximately 8km along the D902, gaining notable altitude — which feels like a breeze with electric assistance. Expect around 30–40 minutes of riding time, with stunning lake views almost the entire way. It’s an ideal E-bike journey for most riders (apart from younger children), offering a steady, rewarding ride without technical difficulty.

Once you arrive in Val d’Isère, a superb valley trail begins at La Daille and winds gently up through the resort. Along the way, you can stop at cafés and restaurants, visit the famous local cheese dairy for a tasting session, explore historic alpine churches, browse the open-air market (held every Wednesday), or spend time hanging from the treetops in the Adventure park. There are plenty of opportunities to pause, explore and soak up the mountain atmosphere.

It’s the perfect blend of riding, sightseeing and authentic Alpine charm — all made effortlessly accessible on an e-bike.
