It’s a destination for alpinists looking for variety, lots of hot sunshine, awe-inspiring scenery and the widest choice of activities in the Alps - from paddleboarding to summer skiing. We also provide a free biking (and walking) lift pass for the week which will save you about a €100 over other resorts.
Our Hotel Hauts de Tovière is very close to the action and the perfect place to enjoy this great resort. It’s just a stone’s throw from the tennis courts, the lake and next to the shops and bars of central Tignes Lavachey. Also at the hotel is our fleet of high quality hardtail mountain bikes (from Specialized) which are free for you to use all week.

About Hotel Haut Tovieres
The Hauts de Tovière is a welcoming hotel, run exclusively by us for mountain-loving Brits in the summer. It enjoys a central location with shops and bars of central Tignes Lavachet on its doorstep.
After an unforgettable day’s biking, walking or enjoying the multitude of free mountain or lake activities, there’s nothing better than to head back to the comforts of our hotel bar and comfy lounge for afternoon tea and cakes to enjoy the evening sun. Head out to the garden (the views are incredible), stretch out on a sun lounger or take a dip in the pool* and take it slightly slower for a while. You’ve earned it.
If you’ve children who want to blow off some steam then our inclusive Active Kids Club is right at hand, and we also have our bike workshop and mechanics should you need them.
*The pool is operated by the bar next door and they prefer guests to buy a drink or ice cream whilst using the pool.
Eat, drink and be active
A good day in the mountains starts with one very important meal. Each morning you’ll enjoy our very own Breakfast of Champions. A hearty breakfast buffet with cooked options like eggs and bacon on 3 days; and mouth-watering continental options every day.

Nothing beats a freshly-baked cake and afternoon tea when you get back from a fun-filled day in the lakes and mountains. In the evenings we’ll tease your taste buds with a delicious three-course menu, (our chef is very good!), which is served 6 nights a week, leaving you free to explore the local restaurants or grab a takeaway pizza (from over the road) for staff nights off.

The hotel has 31 en-suite bedrooms and almost all the rooms enjoy the sun during the day, a balcony and spectacular views of Tignes and its mountains and trails. We offer a variety of twin, double and triple bedrooms with family quads too. It’s a cosy hotel with a great summertime atmosphere and perfect views to boot!

Once you’re ready to head out (with or without the kids!) our activity team are there to hook you up with all the fun and adventure you can handle, setting you up for high-altitude, high-adrenaline high adventure.
Our hotel is a short walk (or an even quicker cycle) to the main activities in Tignes and its’ beautiful centrepiece: the lake. Alpine sporty types will love the sheer amount of activities on offer, in fact so many that it’s sometimes hard to choose what to do next!
We put together our inclusive Active Packs so that you’ve more than enough activities to sink your teeth into on your week with us and our Active Reps will help you plan your adventures and ensure you make the most out of your week away.
We also offer complimentary use of our top-notch Specialized mountain bikes during your stay, to help you explore. We’ll even help you get wet with free sessions of Stand Up Paddle boarding, kayaking, catamaran sailing and the epic Acroland, to name but a few, free)-and-inclusive activities on our Tignes Espace card. Nothing breaks the ice with your fellow hotel guests like heading down a giant slide and straight into the lake, right?
Our free Active Packs will keep you busy enough, but if you’ve got any spare time, the area is also renowned for its Via Ferrata, summer skiing (the best glacier in Europe!), its horse riding, glacier walking, parapenting and much more.
