Route Cards

Itineraries for a great day out

We have compiled a selection of epic itinerary suggestions for a great day out, either on two wheels or two feet. Ask our Active Reps on arrival for our Route Cards. They have some of the best walks and bike rides in the area and we have itineraries suited to families, adventurous hikers, bikers and alpinists with activities to do along the way.

Itineraries for a great day out

We have a number of Route Cards with suggested itineraries for each of our resorts. Each itinerary serves as a half or full day-out, and has been compiled with years of local knowledge on the area. We have Route Cards for all tastes and fitness levels: so whether you’re an active family, a keen biker, hiker or alpine lover - we’ll have something for you.

Try a high altitude family bike ride using the chairlifts (ages 6+) which will help you experience the ‘real’ mountain and see incredible wildlife along the way… Or experience a walk or hike using cable cars and chair lifts that will take you to mountain  lakes with activities to do along the way…Or we have epic road rides to Samoens (for keen road bikers)... And we have long, looping walks via secret lakes with mountain refuges or restaurants to enjoy coffee and lunch along the way

Fantasticable Route Card #1

Available from our Active Staff in resort

Take the Super Morzine gondola from the centre of town, then the Zorres chairlift to the very top. You can buy a ticket at the lift office, from €5. At the top, follow the signposted trails down to Lindarets, by bike or by foot. It’s a great walk or ride (downhill all the way) and you can stop for coffee at one of the mountain restaurants.

Optional: From Lindarets, take the Chaux Fleurie chairlift to the Fantasticable - longest zipwire in Europe - or just relax in the sun and enjoy the cafes of Lindarets.

Then continue your journey down, via the Goat Village, which is a cute mountain village inhabited by goats and just half a mile from Lindarets. It’s a great stop for lunch and souvenirs. Afterwards, continue down to lake Montriond via mountain trails or the tarmac’d mountain road (which is easier for beginner bikers). At the lake you can finish the day sunbathing, wild swimming or kayaking. If you've any energy left, then walk the remaining distance home or take the free bus from the lake.

The ‘Fantasticable’ is a great circular bike ride or walk which is downhill for 90% of the route. Route card with full itinerary instructions is available from our Active Reps in resort.
