Rather like Coasteering, but a lot more fun! Canyoning is a fun and technical sporting activity that combines the art of hiking, climbing, abseiling, jumping (into rock pools) or rappelling to the bottom of a river canyon with waterfalls and white water slides along the way. Your diligent instructor and guide shows you how it’s done and it is also a great bonding experience to enjoy with our other guests.
This is a great Canyon route for all ages: we have a Family Discovery Route (age 10+) and a Teen and Adult Adventure route (age 14+).
The Activity takes place in group sizes of 8, near Bozel, so you will be transferred to the activity by coach or minibus straight from the door of our Hotel in Tignes Les Brevieres.
Once at the centre, you will be kitted out with wetsuits, harnesses and helmets before your safety briefing.It is a great experience with other guests and really bonds everyone together with teamwork and an emphasis on fun and adventure. The Nautic base of Doron is in Bozel, about a 40min drive from our hotel in Tignes Les Brévières. Easy for Self Drives but we will provide transport to and from our hotel in Brévières to the Nautical base for everyone else.
