Guided Walks

Book a professional guide and experience a great day out

Making use of a professional guide offers a fantastic opportunity to discover the area and its hidden gems. It’s also a great way to meet other like minded walkers and hikers. We include guided walks (for free) with our Active Packs or our Active Reps can arrange them locally.

Top Tip: For Hotel Tetras (Tignes) we include a guided hike in our Active Packs.

Guided Hiking, Morzine

  • Lift pass included in your Free Active Pack
  • Half day: €190 for 1-8 per
  • Full day: €300 for 1-8 per
  • All ages 10+
  • Sociable walking groups of 10-12

We’ve teamed up with local experts, Evo 2, to offer you two levels of guided walking or hiking. To walk with a guide is a rewarding experience and you will see the area from a local’s perspective, learn some history, see wildlife and enjoy a sociable walk. Choose between a ‘Discovery walk’ for families or ‘Adventure hike’ for those who want to hike. Book locally with our Mountain Team.

  • Cost: €29 or €59 (full day) with no Active Pack

We’ve teamed up with local activity experts, Evo 2, to offer you two levels of guided walking or hiking. To walk with a guide is a rewarding experience and you will see the area from a local’s perspective, learn some history, see wildlife and enjoy a sociable walk. Choose between our ‘Discovery walk’ for families or ‘Adventure hike’ for those who want to hike higher and longer. If numbers are low we will combine both levels into a Discovery Hike to suit all participants.

Top Tips: Upgrade to the Adventure Pack to have your free guided walk enhanced to a full day excursion.

GUIDED WALKS TIGNES

A Sociable experience

A guided walk or hike is a great way to meet other Alpine Elements guests and experience the beauty of the Alps in company. A guide with a local’s knowledge will show you some hidden gems and take you to places you would not otherwise find, with stunning views, local culture and lots of wildlife along the way. And another thing - it will give you plenty to chat about around the dinner table afterwards!

What is a guided walk like?

A guide walk can run for a half or full day but we think a half day is perfect for most, more adventurous hikers may want to do a full day.

A guided walk may take in some lifts to reach high vantage points easily, so make sure you take your free lift pass with you. Then, you can walk at altitude, cover more mileage and enjoy the views more. You will find plenty of rest stops (cafes and restaurants) and even activities to do along the way and spice things up for younger walkers, like the Fantasticable zip wire or Goat Village.

Try Nordic Walking
