Inclusive activities
Val D’isere is a pretty alpine resort (one of the nicest, we think) and we’ve upgraded our free Active Packs for this summer, with more than enough premium activities to sink your teeth into.
Once you’re ready to head out our activity team are there to hook you up with all the fun and adventure you can handle. We offer free mountain bike hire - so you get a top-notch mountain bike to use for the week; and a free lift pass for walkers and bikers so you can use the lifts to explore hundreds of Kms of trails in this beautiful mountain region.
We’ve also upgraded our inclusive Active Packs for the Gelinotte so you can have a free half day excursion of Via Ferrata - climbing on natural rock faces using pre-laid routes - and in Val D’isere the Via Ferrata are famous!
We include a guided walk and a guided bike ride - with professional guides - run in sociable groups from the hotel; and free access to resort activities like archery, golf and tennis to name a few. We even include a free half day session on our (very high-end) electric mountain bikes so you can experience this fast growing sport. Our selection of bikes of all sizes makes it a fun activity for everyone.
We’ll also help you get wet with our inclusive Whitewater rafting excursion (a very fun half-day out). Nothing breaks the ice with your fellow hotel guests like heading down a river at high speed on an inflatable raft, right? Our free Active Packs will keep you busy enough, but if you’ve got any spare time, the area is also renowned for its Via Ferrata... horse riding... glacier walking... parapenting... and more.
About the Chalet
Chalet Cascade is a premium ski-to-door chalet by winter and equally as lovely in summertime. You’ll enjoy superb views of the Bellevarde, its outdoor hot tub and its great location: right by the biking and walking trails which lead into the resort centre in a matter of minutes. Just use your (free-and-inclusive) mountain bike hire which will help you get around the resort easily.
You’ll also appreciate its superior facilities: the chalet has a pool table, a games’ room and the holy trinity of luxury extras: a steam room; a sauna and an outdoor hot tub (complete with an amazing view!).
The chalet enjoys a very convenient location which is right beside some of the best walking and biking homeruns in the resort. The trails outside the chalet lead down to the famous Bellevarde gondola and all the other main lifts, for access to the best mountain activities in Val’. And don’t forget - you can use the lifts for free (for biking and walking) on the resort multipass that we supply.
