The Tourist Office, shops and bars in central 1800 are about 3 to 4 mins walk. It’s an easy walk down to the centre; and a 5 min walk back up to the chalet. You can take the free bus back which stops less than 100m from the chalet if your legs are tired!

Alternatively, you can take the bus which stops about 100m from the chalet which will whisk you into the centre of 1800, or the ski slopes and lessons meeting points in minutes.

About La Plagne

La Plagne is a very snowsure resort, it’s excellent snow record is further guaranteed by the glacier at Plagne Bellecôte, which extends up to 3250 metres and the Aguille Rouge on the Les Arcs side of the Paradiski. From Bellecôte, you will find some long intermediate and advanced ski slopes with a seemingly endless supply of powder, which are actually some of the longest descents in France.

Our chalet in La Plagne 1800 is almost ski to door (within a few hundred metres) and is quite close to the ski school meeting points and some of the best lifts and runs in the area. The fact that 1800 is in the treeline adds not only charm, but practicality and ease of skiing on a day when the weather comes in. A further bonus!
