Chalet Cret de la Neige

Meribel
6 Rooms

A very smart 12 bed ski chalet situated close to the Olympic Télécabine and slopes at Le Raffort - one of our favourite skiable home runs…

The Chalet

Chalet Cret de la Neige is a bright and spacious 12 bed ski chalet in the picturesque residential area of La Gittaz, just beneath Meribel Village and minutes away from the ski piste at Le Raffort and the Olympic Télécabine which takes you straight to La Chaudanne for shopping, skiing or the lively centre of Meribel.

Chalet Cret de la Neiges is a 4 diamond property with a beautifully designed interior, spacious rooms and all en-suite bedrooms. The chalet enjoys wonderful views of the mountains and ski slopes in the distance from its sunny aspect balconies, further enhanced with its tranquil location in the upmarket area of La Gittaz as it over-looks Le Raffort.

The chalet benefits with a large open-plan layout which is perfect for socialising; making it an ideal ski retreat for groups and families who enjoy convivial evenings around an open fireplace with a large dining table for mealtimes. In fact, just the right setting for your Alpine team Elements chalet host to serve our excellent 3 or 4 course evening meals and our usual high level of chalet service.

If you’re looking for entertainment after the evening meal then the chalet has UK Freesat TV, a DVD player so you can curl up and watch a film, or board games and free Wi-Fi.

The Bedrooms

Chalet Cretet has 6 full en-suite bedrooms:

  • 1 double with en-suite shower, WC
  • 1 twin with en-suite bath, WC
  • 4 twins with en-suite shower, WC

Location

The chalet is situated in the tranquil hamlet of La Gittaz, just 10 minutes from Méribel centre, and therefore in a perfect position to offer a relaxing, yet convenient Meribel setting with all the benefits of a speedy connection to anywhere in the Three Valleys.

You can ski back to La Gittaz, very close to the chalet (snow conditions permitting), via a pisted track suitable for intermediate skiers and boarders.

The free Meribel Resort Ski bus stops right outside the chalet for quick access into Meribel centre.

Eat, drink and be skiing

A good day on the mountains starts with one very important meal. To kick off your day, we serve a daily breakfast with hot options on 3 days to set you up for all the snow you can handle.

Nothing beats a freshly-baked cake and afternoon tea when you get back in from the slopes in the afternoon and our delicious three-course meals with unlimited wine until dessert are served six nights a week, leaving you free to explore the local restaurants for staff's night off.

  • Continental breakfast (7 days) with hot options (3 days)
  • Afternoon tea, coffee & hot chocolate with freshly baked cakes (6 days)
  • Three course dinners & wine, unlimited until dessert, (6 nights)
  • Special celebration menus at Christmas & New Year

About Meribel

Meribel itself provides the perfect conditions for beginners and early intermediates to quickly improve their skiing, with a range of challenging and not so challenging descents.

The facilities for snowboard holidays are superb, with three snow park and pipe options in the Meribel sector alone.

There are many more very well maintained parks throughout the Trois Vallees, all easily accessible and feature a good variety of hips, slides and jumps to suit all abilities. There is also a border cross course for varying levels of potential snowboard racers!

Group Ski Savings

Get 'On the Snow' Faster With Us

If you pre-book your ski extras with us then our ‘On the Snow’ service will help you get started in resort. We can save you two very precious things - money and time - if you pre-book the holy trinity of ski passes, hire and lessons early with us. After all, the mountains are too much fun to waste time queuing for lift passes or traipsing around resort looking for the best deal for ski hire.

Once you arrive with us, our ‘On the Snow’ team of reps will collect pre-booked lift passes for you and deliver them to the breakfast table on your first morning. They will also do their best to fast-track you through the ski shops and get you on the mountain as quickly and easily as they possibly can.

Ski and Board Hire

Unless you own your own skis or board, then you’re going to need to rent some. Nowadays the standard of rental skis is very good and we only work with the best suppliers.

Lift Passes

We also recommend that you pre-book your lift pass through us as well. This way we can bring your lift pass to the breakfast table on your first morning before you head out.

Ski/Board Lessons

Again, we always recommend pre-booking lessons to guarantee availability. We can book you into group lessons for all levels of skier and boarder – beginner to expert.

Price Match Promise

If you do find a better price for your skis and board hire elsewhere, (so long as it’s the same quality), then let us know and we guarantee we will not only match it, but we’ll beat it too!
