Why go Self Catering?

Self catered apartments work well for private groups of friends and family who can share the cooking or would like to eat out more. All properties come fully equipped for self catering and are completely independent units with simple cooking and entertainment facilities.

After a hard day of pitting your brain and your limbs against the mountain, the idea of cooking a family or group meal may not good for everyone, however it is a great way to save money.

The self-drive holiday option is one which lends itself to self catering apartments as the week’s shopping can be taken with you. The only local shopping need be for fresh items such as milk, bread and vegetables.

About Tignes

One of the largest ski areas in Europe and linked to neighbouring Val d’Isère, Tignes has earned itself 'Super Resort' status. Famous for its high altitude skiing and a snow record most other resorts can only dream of, Tignes coolly and comfortably rivals the world’s best ski and board destinations for downhill and off piste

The slopes in Tignes are characteristically wide, long lasting and highly efficient. All in all, this allows for some effortless skiing for all abilities, less slope congestion and not so much waiting in lift queues! The slopes are immaculately kept and link very well with neighbouring Val D’Isere to offer a superb variety of steeper descents and networks of easier runs for the progressive intermediates to cover some mileage.

Book Smart and Save Money

Contact our sales team for the best ways you and your group or family can save money this winter.

Group Ski Savings

Get 'On the Snow' Faster With Us

If you pre-book your ski extras with us then our ‘On the Snow’ service will help you get started in resort. We can save you two very precious things - money and time - if you pre-book the holy trinity of ski passes, hire and lessons early with us. After all, the mountains are too much fun to waste time queuing for lift passes or traipsing around resort looking for the best deal for ski hire.

Once you arrive with us, our ‘On the Snow’ team of reps will collect pre-booked lift passes for you and deliver them to the breakfast table on your first morning. They will also do their best to fast-track you through the ski shops and get you on the mountain as quickly and easily as they possibly can.

Ski and Board Hire

Unless you own your own skis or board, then you’re going to need to rent some. Nowadays the standard of rental skis is very good and we only work with the best suppliers.

Lift Passes

We also recommend that you pre-book your lift pass through us as well. This way we can bring your lift pass to the breakfast table on your first morning before you head out.

Ski/Board Lessons

Again, we always recommend pre-booking lessons to guarantee availability. We can book you into group lessons for all levels of skier and boarder – beginner to expert.

Price Match Promise

If you do find a better price for your skis and board hire elsewhere, (so long as it’s the same quality), then let us know and we guarantee we will not only match it, but we’ll beat it too!
