Treat yourself to a brand new luxury 8-bed chalet that sits high up over the village. Enjoy your own hot tub on the terrace, with the village and mountains laid out before you, and feast your eyes on probably the best view in Morzine! It’s an easy 5-minute cycle to the main Pleney lifts and trails (you can walk it in 10); or take the free resort shuttle which stops outside. Luckily, we include a free bike upgrade so you get your own bike all week…So getting around is not only fun, but easy too!

If you like a little ‘luxe’ with an active lifestyle, then Austin is a hard one to beat. You’ll enjoy an enhanced level of service (from our brilliant staff!) and special extra touches like welcome toiletries, afternoon tea each day and a hot tub that bubbles away outside.
Once you’re ready to head out (with or without the kids!) our Activity Team will hook you up with all the fun and adventure you can handle: You can make use of our free-to-use Specialized bikes and we’ll help you get wet with a free session of Stand-up paddle boarding or kayaking at the lake… You’ll also get a free excursion at the Adventure Park (it’s a hit with all ages)... and then we’ve got a free sesh of Whitewater rafting to get stuck-in to… Nothing breaks the ice with your fellow guests like hurtling down a river in a Whitewater raft, right?
If you’re keen to go biking then we have a stock of Specialized bikes which are free to use (kids and adult sizes). Ask us for our recommended itineraries (Route Cards) so you can enjoy a two-wheeled adventure.You’ll love the resort trails which wind their way along stunning scenery, but if you’d like to hit the high altitude bike trails with their banks, berms and bumps - then pay a little extra for a biking lift pass and hire a full suspension bike to explore these mountain routes. Lift passes are from €5 per uplift, and these trails are suited to confident intermediate riders ages 10+.
We include a free pedestrian lift pass (25 lifts) for all guests, a Multipass for resort activities and access to 850km of tracks and trails. There’s more than enough activities to keep you busy all week and our Active Reps have lots of itinerary ideas for a great half day or full day out, whether it's on two-wheels or two-feet. Ask them for our Route Cards for some fantastic bike ride and walking route suggestions when you arrive.
If you’re in need of a breather, then pre-book (before departure) our inclusive Active Kids Club (4-12yrs) as spaces are limited. They are located at a nearby hotel, so you can drop your kids off and let them go wild as they meet other kids and try new experiences with our childcare leaders.
About the Chalet
Chalet Austin is as stylish an alpine retreat as they come. We designed the chalet ourselves and named it after a British design classic: the Austin Healey motor car.
This has been custom-built as a luxury mountain retreat (and the emphasis is on ‘treat’) with its elegant interiors, Italian designer bathrooms and huge floor-to-ceiling windows show off one of the finest panoramic views in Morzine.
The Austin is a very special chalet for eight, offering four bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. Expect a beautiful dining room and lounge with some very unique furnishings made locally in Morzine, alongside stunning views that look out over the valley and up into the mountains of Avoriaz.
