Transport to the Activities

All your activities included in our free Active Packs or upgraded Active Packs start straight from our hotel or include transport directly from the door, for no extra cost. This way, you don't have to worry about finding activity meeting points or trekking far to get to activities. You’ll enjoy a bespoke week of activities with it all laid on for you.

Some add-on activities that we don't include with our holidays may require a small local fee for transport to the activity. Fees are typically €16-29 for local activity transport.

Tignes & Val d’Isère - Free Shuttle

You can visit Tignes le Lac or Val D’Isere (when we’re not keeping you busy with our inclusive activities) using a free minibus shuttle from Tignes Les Brevieres to Tignes Le Lac every 30 mins from 9.30 to 17.30*. Or a  free shuttle to Val d’Isère which runs every hour. You can even take your  bikes on the Tignes Le Lac shuttle.

The shuttle stop is a 5 min’ walk from our hotel and takes about 15 mins to get to Le Lac where the main bike and pedestrian lifts are located. It’s also where the main lake is located for activities included on your free MyTignes pass. For all other activities private transport will be provided, directly from our hotel.

*We include a Multipass for 3 days, not for 6 days as we don't think you’ll use it as there’s plenty going on with your free Active Packs! If you would like a 6 day pass then you can upgrade with us for approx €12. You can do this directly with our reps, either before departure or on arrival.

Bikes on the shuttle

You can even take your bike with you as the Tignes Le Lac shuttle has a bike trailer. This shuttle was initially conceived as a rapid method of getting Downhill Mountainbikers staying in Les Brev’ up to the trails and lifts in Le Lac. The shuttle runs every 30 mins, all day (with an hour break at lunch) and is located an easy 2 min’ cycle from the hotel.

We also recommend using it for trips to Le Lac (with your standard free-use bike) so you can potter around the lake; or for dedicated Downhill riders to access the trail riding and lifts each day. The ride home does not require the shuttle as it’s all downhill and a fun ride home.

Complimentary Airport Transfers

We offer complimentary transfers to and from Geneva airport for all earlybooking guests to our exclusive hotels and chalets. Our ‘free transfer’ will take you to the door of the hotel Tetras Lodge. It takes about 2hrs 50m from the airport and has regular loo stops.

Our transfers leave you free to book your own flights from your favourite UK airport and pre-book onto one of our transfer buses. We’d advise not to select a bus that departs within 90 mins of your published flight arrival time. For inbound (return) flights home, we’d recommend allowing a little more time - see our guidelines on the link below.

Self Drives

These holidays are very suited to self drives due to the added flexibility of having a car in resort. The drive-time from Calais to Tignes Les Brevieres is about 9 hours with the odd fuel stop, all do-able in a day if travelling on the Eurotunnel. Or, take two days over it and enjoy the sights of France on the way.
