Your home for the week

Chalet Austin is as stylish an alpine retreat as they come. We designed the chalet ourselves and named it after a British design classic: the Austin Healey motor car. This new chalet has been custom-built as a luxury mountain chalet (and the emphasis is on ‘treat’) with its elegant interior, Italian designer bathrooms and huge floor-to-ceiling windows that show off one of the finest panoramic views in Morzine.

This very special chalet for eight offers four bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. Downstairs is a beautiful dining room and lounge with some very unique furnishings made locally in Morzine and stunning views that look out over the valley and up into the mountains of Avoriaz.

Outside is the chalet hot tub, situated on the sun deck which also takes in those magnificent views… Did we mention them earlier? Well, soak away and admire the whole of Morzine laid out before you.

As usual, you can expect a high level of Alpine Elements chalet service: with a hearty breakfast each day, afternoon tea and freshly made cakes as you return from the slopes, followed by three course evening meals and wine for 6 nights a week.

Bedrooms... take your pick

• Bedroom 1: Two singles, en-suite, large windows (valley view).
• Bedroom 2: Two singles, en-suite, large windows (valley view).
• Bedroom 3: Two singles, en-suite, smaller windows (forest view)
• Bedroom 4: Two singles, en-suite, large windows (forest view)

All beds are single which can ‘zip-lock’ into doubles.

Four spacious bedrooms with Italian designer bathrooms. The lounge and dining room have floor to ceiling windows offering stunning views of the village and mountains from its elevated position. A designer kitchen helps our staff cook up some treats for your stay and you’ll enjoy the outdoor hot tub. There’s a ski room with boot warmers. All rooms can fit a cot.

Location

Austin is the perfect pad to relax in. After a great day’s skiing or boarding, come back to the chalet (the free bus stops outside) or you can leave your ski and boots at the ski shop and walk back - it’s only 10 minutes.

Either way, the chalet is an easy 10-minute stroll into town, but if you don’t fancy the walk - the free bus takes you there in a few mins and runs until late. The bus will also whisk you to the slopes in the morning; and takes about 5 mins to get to the Pleney lift where you’ll also find ski school meeting points and ski shops. Daytime buses run (approx.) every 30 mins in peak season with a break at lunch.

Each morning you’ll enjoy our very own Breakfast of Champions. A hearty breakfast buffet with cooked options like eggs and bacon on 3 days; and mouth-watering continental options every day. Nothing beats a freshly-baked cake and afternoon tea when you get back in from the slopes and each of our chalets has its own coffee machine supplying fresh coffee on tap to help you stay suitably caffeinated throughout your holiday.

In the evenings we’ll tease your taste buds with a delicious 3-course menu, accompanied by free-flowing wines until dessert. All this is served on six nights of your stay, leaving you free to explore the local restaurants on staff nights off.
