If you’re a keen roadie, then you’ll love 100’s of Km’s of dedicated tarmac cycle paths which run through the forest, along miles of coastline, through villages and around the lake. Try the 90 km Lake circumnavigation which takes you to the beach at Biscarosse, up to Arcachon, through Sanguinet back to Mayotte.

Family Biking

The extensive grounds of Club Mayotte are ideal for young children to cycle around safely. The wider area has plenty of excellent rides along flat, easy-riding purpose made cycle paths. Try riding to the Aqua Park at Port Maguide, which is a beautiful lakeside ride and takes about 30mins to 1 hour depending on the size of your smallest riders’ legs! There’s good coffee, ice cream and a beach next to the Aqua Park - which is an inflatable obstacle course in the lake, for ages 8 and up.

Join in with our guided bike rides which take place most days, from a casual lakeside tour to a more adventurous ride. Our guided rides are led by your Alpine Elements and will introduce you to the areas’ network of cycle paths for some leisurely cycles; or to the areas more exciting off-road trails and secret spots for the keen mountain bikers.
